Other Interests/Activities

From 2000-2016, I was the live and in-studio engineer and producer for my favorite “working” band. Martial arts have been a responsibility most all of my life, ultimately leading to “non-sport combatives” . . . essentially what looks like MMA, but with and without weapons. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kali, western boxing and more, all run through the “filter” of JKD. Lots of time has been invested in computers/technology and sciences, primarily psychopharmacology, neurology, physics/quantum cosmology, and biotechnology. I am also deeply interested in philosophy/worldviews, particularly around issues of epistemology and critical thinking.
